Services to victims of family violence and abuse are designed to explore all the options for change, including legal choices, housing choices, employment choices, and a safe location (if needed). These services are confidential! The staff will also provide community education about alternatives to family/peer violence and ways to build more respectful relationships.     Gail Keyes and Maria Madariaga assist in filing DVP’s, pro-se (do-it-yourself) divorces, filling out change in custody/change of child support petitions and provide systems advocacy and court accompaniment, as well as information, referrals and linkages.
Maria is the primary advocate for situations involving criminal charges.
These services are provided by staff of the Women's Resource Center.
A women's discussion group is also offered.
